Logo Design Contest

Please note that our deadline has been changed to March 10, 2008!

The IUPUI Take Back the Night (TBTN) planning committee is seeking entries for a new logo to be used with all advertising products. The contest is open to all members of the public.

The planning committee is seeking a creative and aesthetic logo that is inclusive of all victims/survivors of sexual violence. The following facts are important to understand when designing the logo:

  • TBTN empowers and transforms victims into survivors by providing a safe, supportive public environment for psychological healing
  • Victims/survivors are female, male, and transgender/transsexual
  • Victims/survivors are heterosexual and members of LGBTQ communities
  • Men, women, and transsexual/transgender people are committed to ending sexual violence.
  • There is hope for the future; together, we can eradicate sexual violence in our world!

The winner of the selected design will receive a $50 honorarium and will be acknowledged at the main TBTN rally on Wednesday, April 16, 4 pm.

All future use of the logo will be the property of Take Back the Night at IUPUI.

Please submit designs by email in a PDF format by March 10, 2008 to save@iupui.edu.
